  1. Zinc and copper make an excellent thermite when mixed with one other other chemical. That is one thing that Obama pennies exceed the value of the coin for explosives. Outside of that, the Obama copper plated zinc isn’t worth shit. F.U. Barry, your shitless coins are worth more than a rail joint!

  2. …so unless everything is rounded to the nearest 5 cents, the only way it will be possible to pay for things is with SOME form of tracable digital currency, be it a credit card, debt card, PayPal, whatever, ALL of which leave a trail to everything you purchase, and ALL of which can be controlled or denied by political influences.

    Well played, Deep State.

    Well played indeed.

  3. I seem to remember reading that it takes 2.5 cents to make a penny. It costs 7 cents to make a nickel. If I pay most contractors cash I’ll get a discount. There’s no question the feds not problematic. But they don’t have jack shit to do with this.

Yea well I have drawers full of the fucking things. One drawer of my roll around is chalked full from where I dump my pockets after getting to work. Yes please, round up. Get rid of the nickel too.

  5. There was a period during the late Roman Empire when the Empire wouldn’t accept Roman money for the payment of taxes (due to devaluation).

Looks like we’re headed in the same direction.

  6. I remember when “penny candy” in the gumball machines was solid. Then they started making them hollow, slowly thinning the shells more and more each year. The good stuff was moved to nickel and dime machines, then quarters.
Finally, the establishments that had them at their store fronts just gave up and stopped using them.
I have a few steel pennies from WWII.

  7. Eliminate all paper money and re-designate the cent as a dollar. Then it can be made of copper again, for a while. If the democrts are able to thwart Trump and DOGE that is where we will be anyway.

  8. All of our coins have been debased. Nickles feel like plastic monopoly money. It doesn’t give a nice jingle in your pocket, and there is no weight to them. Just another step taken by TPTB to steer us towards a cashless society.
