Samaritan’s Purse is responding in Kentucky and Missouri after deadly tornadoes struck the region starting late on Friday, May 16. More than 25 people are dead in the wake of the storm system, which spawned dozens of twisters and left damage across the eastern United States. Thousands of homes have been damaged in the St. Louis area and in southern portions of the Bluegrass State, where a long-track tornado ripped through Pulaski and Laurel counties.

Two U.S. Disaster Relief units—tractor trailers filled with relief supplies and equipment—have been deployed to Laurel County, Kentucky, and St. Louis, Missouri.
Disaster Relief Unit #7 will set up a base of operations at Calvary Baptist Church in London, Kentucky. Volunteers can start at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, May 19..
Disaster Relief Unit #4 is making its way to Missouri as we await word of a host church in the St. Louis area.
