Daily Skeptic:
A Green-led council has been branded “absolutely insane” after it painted big green spots on a road to “calm the traffic”. The Telegraph has the story.
Residents in Bedminster, Bristol, were left confused after a series of green dots were painted on Greville Road.
Various theories circled the street while Bristol city council initially said it was “investigating”.
However, it has now been confirmed they were painted as part of a traffic-calming scheme.

As far as useless and stupid govt ideas go, this one’s mostly harmless.
Take down about half the traffic signs and all of the billboards so I can see God’s green. Then I’ll be calm.
I thought that green means go, and red means stop. How is green meaning go going to calm traffic. IDIOTS! Everything the left does is ass backwards.
I guarantee the number of collisions will increase because some people will suddenly slow down to look at them and others will crash into them.
The nine most dangerous words in the english language are “I’m from the government and I’m here to help….”.
Not to mention that painted areas on the road are invariably slippery when wet. And why do the English carry umbrellas again?
There’s never a shortage of funds for stupid/insane ideas.
They’re worried about safety yet they allow Muslims to invade?
Plan B.
The rainbow painted crosswalks didn’t work.
The muzzies have been the green light to invade the UK and the British authorities are perfectly OK with it.
Hmmm. I listen to green noise when I go to bed. It really does shut down my crazy brain. Maybe green dots would help me sleep while driving — maybe not such a good idea.
perform oral sex, dindus. probably a felony to peel out on one?
I see green spots on the ceiling of my bedroom after a night of serious Bourbon & Beer. It doesn’t make me calm down, it makes me eject dinner.

Green: Good
Red: Bad
Blue: Death
