  1. Sourpuss – and now it will plague all of US. Thanks a bunch. Currently the Burger King one seems to show up just before bedtime, regardless of the channel I’m on. Seriously annoying.

  2. I keep thinking “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing” was used in commercials and finally found Burger King using it in ’96. Funny, how these things stick in the brain but not well enough to leave a mark.

And then there’s always “you wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent” or John Cameron Swayze for Timex watches “it takes a licking and keeps on ticking” or the ads for Dr. Ross dogfood “Dr. Ross dogfood is doggone good.” Earworms totally unforgettable forever. And many other annoying ads that I still remember.
