Gavin Newsom sipped wine at Napa fundraiser while anti-ICE protesters plunged L.A. into chaos

NYPost-

California Gov. Gavin Newsom threw on a pair of sunglasses and sipped wine at a ritzy party at his sun-drenched vineyard earlier this month – just as chaotic, anti-ICE protests kicked off in Los Angeles.

The luxe event dubbed “Vineyard Vibes” was held at the Odette Estate Winery in Napa Valley to raise money for the PlumpJack Foundation, founded by Newsom’s sister, on the afternoon of June 7.

One witness was appalled that the Democrat was casually enjoying a glass of vino in a V-neck T-shirt and baseball cap the day after his City of Angels started spiraling into violence, with rioters throwing concrete rocks at cops and vandalizing federal buildings. more

  1. @Pogo — There’s another side to that coin. Gov. Noisome is generally incompetent and screws up whatever he touches. So, if he’s off somewhere getting soused, at least he isn’t damaging anything except maybe his liver (we can hope).

Hey, Guv! I hear fentanyl goes great with red wine!

  2. Anon – unfortunately, a Trump winery wouldn’t last long or exist in the first place.

I’m pretty sure it’s true that President Trump has never partaken in alcohol.

Also, a Conservative winery wouldn’t last long, as it seems that only snobs and “I’m better than you” people partake in wine. Conservatives that I have known only do beer or liquor – “The low-man’s drink”.

    Good try though.

  3. @fullmetal256 — Watch it there, my friend! I enjoy a glass or three of a good red. I have no pretenses of great wine knowledge, but that doesn’t stop me from gladly accepting a treat of really good stuff when some lib/prog wine snob is buying.

As for what I drink at home, I enjoy alcohol in most forms. I have beer in the reefer, some good scotch and decent rye in the cupboard, and a fat three-liter bottle of Carlo Rossi ‘burgundy’ on the counter (I drink that over ice).

  4. The wife and I are attending a RSVP event with Chad Bianco on Monday. I was asked to bring questions. I have a lot of them. But only one important one. How do plan on getting passed the big cheat ?

  5. Bad-Brad…ask him if protesters should be run over, if gas should cost$8 a gal, if electric rates should be 3x the nat’l avg, and should it be so hard to buy a gun.
I hung up on McClintocks robo call last night.

  6. Monterey, CA. Rosita Drive, 1951, Pacific Fleet Dad, Squadron Leader, and present family at that time (me and my two sisters) waiting for Honolulu Orders.

Even then, saw and met a lot of regional Californians (school, Dad and Moms’ friends, etc.). Heaven to a kid finding horny toads and glass snakes in the backyard woods.

I know things change…But!…What the Hell is going on with this moron? California does not deserve this “KILL AMERICA!” criminal who seriously believes that the TAX MONEY (once acquired) BELONGS TO HIM!!!.

  7. “ Bad-Brad…ask him if protesters should be run over,”

You are totally missing the point. If this guy walked on water it would be pointless if we couldn’t get him elected. His conservative position are pointless unless he can actually achieve the office.

  8. Nero Newsom, sipping wine and listening to violin music while places in LA burn, because of anti-ICE protests he supports. Way overdue his removal from office as California’s governor.
